NDIS Panania NSW

The national disability insurance scheme (NDIS) is a lifeline for many people. It is a game changer for those living with disabilities or permanent physical impairments. It not only assists in day-to-day activities but has a very holistic and long-term approach.

NDIS services are unique and are tailored to meet the needs and medical requirements of each participant. It covers a wide range of support categories and navigating through all the technical terms and jargon can be overwhelming for someone who is just starting their NDIS journey.

Whether you’re new to the NDIS Panania or have been receiving support for a while, it’s helpful to understand the different NDIS support categories.

3 NDIS funding categories

Each NDIS support budget category relates to the goals you might like to achieve. The three NDIS funding categories that may be covered in your plan are:

  • Core supports: include help with everyday activities, for example, household cleaning or transport.
  • Capital supports: this is where you may have a budget for one-off, high-cost purchases, such as a wheelchair, or installing a handrail in your bathroom.
  • Capital building supports: include funds for programs that improve your skills, such as finding study, a job you enjoy, or an eating plan that works.

In this article, we have broken down the different types of funded support Circle of Hope offers, so you can make the most out of your NDIS Plan with us.
