If you qualify for a home care package, a budget is given to you. It is made up of a contribution from the Australian Government and your own. Together, these funds cover your care services as well as the package management costs to organise and manage your package services.

Q1: How do I get funding from the government?
A: You begin by registering with My Aged Care (1800 200 422) and get an ACAT assessment. Once you qualify, a budget will be allocated to you based on your needs and you can choose your package along with your service provider.
Q2: How long until care starts?
A: Once your package is approved, we usually start within 4 – 6 weeks (sooner if we can coordinate services quickly).
