Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q1: How long will it take for the services to start?
A: Once your package is approved, we usually start within 4 – 6 weeks (sooner if we can coordinate services quickly).
Q2: Can you offer aged care at my home?
A: Yes, we do offer in-home care. Besides this, we also offer short-term care (e.g. for a few days or months) and aged care home services.
Q3: What if I can’t afford aged care?
A: If you are worried that you may not be able to afford the package you need, you can ask to be considered for financial hardship assistance. If you are eligible, the Australian government will pay some or all of your aged care costs.
Q4: Can I seek financial advice?
A: Yes. In fact, it is recommended. You can also receive free financial information through Services Australia’s
Aged Care Specialist Officers (ACSOs) and
Financial Information Service (FIS).
